Latrobe Regional Airport is located in Victoria’s Latrobe Valley, about 1.5-2 hour’s drive east of the Melbourne CBD, and is a short 5 minute drive from both Traralgon and Morwell.
By Plane
If you are a pilot, you can also fly in for the Airshow, though you will need to be on the ground by 10.30 am, and must wait to depart until the airport re-opens at the conclusion of the air show (around 3.30 pm). Fuel availability TBA (watch this space).
NO access to your aircraft will be possible from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
Prior permission is required to land and this can be obtained in person or by phone from Flight Operations at Latrobe Regional Airport (prior to the event) on (03) 5174 2591. Permission can NOT be obtained on CTAF 126.0 or from anyone other than an employee of Latrobe Regional Airport. There is no landing fee for this event.

By Public Transport
Latrobe Regional Airport is not serviced well by public transport. However, you can catch a regional train from Melbourne to Traralgon, and then get a taxi to the Airport (5 minute car-ride).
